Hands to the ground.

The WorldEthicForum was launched in Switzerland to counterpoint the World Economic Forum. This new forum is a community of engaged people who aim for a decolonised, de-fossil-fueled, multi-species, kin-driven, ecology-based relationship with the world. Nicolas Galeazzi, one of 70 Firekeepers, holds their engaged torch op in their specific field to light the fire for new forms of activism, inspiration, debates and research.

The Firekeepers come not only from all over the world but also from various disciplines, fields of knowledge and forms of engagement. Together, they search for ways to dedicate energy to finding ways of life in a collapsing world without falling into a collabsologist depression. Instead, we try to find ways for a radically shared aliveness amongst all terrestrials, as people like Bruno Latour, Dona Haraway, Andreas Weber, or Bayo Akomolafe are promoting.

Nicolas contributed to the Forum, which took place twice in the summer of ’22 and ’23, with several workshops and performances.
